Our holiday hunting house is in a wonderful secluded location near the small town of Ziegelsambach with its own well and photovoltaic system! It is located on the edge of the forest in a sunny clearing on a slope in a huge property (7000 square meters, not fenced), with a large meadow with numerous fruit trees. Children can romp wonderfully here! Or just relax in the quiet nature. The house has a living room with a fireplace, sofa corner and dining area. It is very cozy with lots of wood. NEW: infrared cabin in the basement and outdoor whirlpool on the terrace! The kitchen is well equipped (stove with ceramic hob and oven, toaster, coffee machine, kettle, small dishwasher ...). There are also 2 bedrooms (1x double bed, 1x2 single beds, 1 extra bed if required, 1 baby travel bed if required). The bathroom has a shower and toilet. There is also an extra toilet. On the large balcony (loggia) with access from the living room, you have a wonderful view of the clearing. There is also a large sun terrace where you can grill. Garden furniture and grill are available. Since April 2011 we have our own photovoltaic system on the roof! The house has new windows with roller blinds and fly screens, renovated and insulated facade and a new coat of paint. The water comes from its own well, it can be cloudy. In winter it can happen that the last part of the access road (approx. 150m forest path) cannot be driven by car due to the weather. The car can then be parked outside under the driveway.
The house is located on the outskirts of Ziegelsambach near Schlüsselfeld. Schlüsselfeld / Ziegelsambach can be reached directly via the A3 motorway (Nuremberg - Würzburg). It is about 6 km from the exit No. 77 Schlüsselfeld to the holiday home. You can go hiking in the Steigerwald (500 km of marked hiking trails, 40 km start in Aschbach). Bicycle tours are also very popular. B. the Prince-Bishops' Bike Tour. There are two 18-hole golf courses nearby, the Geiselwind amusement park (approx. 10 km), the Schloss Thurn adventure park (approx. 30 km) and the Playmobil fun park (approx. 60 km). In the wine region of Franconia, visits to the numerous cozy wine festivals are worthwhile in summer. Bamberg World Heritage Site is only 35 km away. Nuremberg with its large zoo and the world-famous Christmas market is only 60 km away. Rothenburg ob der Tauber with its well-preserved old town from the Middle Ages is worth a trip, as is Bad Windsheim with its open-air museum and thermal baths. NEW: Tree top path near Ebrach!
Ziegelsambach is a small village that belongs to the city of Schlüsselfeld. Schlüsselfeld is a small, cozy town in the Steigerwald Nature Park with a city wall, city towers and a small museum. There is everything your heart desires ... The ice cream parlor is particularly popular in summer! You can do your shopping, have a nice meal or visit the beer cellar with typical Franconian beer. It is open at the weekend in good weather in summer (flag is hoisted).
