Summary: The property is basic, but well maintained and food is pretty good mostly. Beer available to buy. No wifi - but you can get a poor connection from receptionist's phone acting as hotspot. Friendly atmosphere. 3 days, 2 nights, equals 4 boat journeys, 1 day walk and 2 night walks. First 2 boat trips were disappointing - didn't see much except same monkeys who hang around camp. 3rd saw orangutans and crocodiles. 4th saw whole herd of pygmy elephants with calves on riverbank and swimming. The elephants were delightfully noisy at night around camp - but didn't see them until final day. The 30 min day walk by stagnant pools of water - we all got bitten to death by mosquitoes through clothing -despite spray and one person wearing anti-mosquito clothing and we saw no living creatures. If it wasn't for the 3rd and 4th boat trip, I'd give a low rating for experience - but the orangutans, elephants and crocs made it incredibly special. And then you love everything else - the company, being on the water, etc.
