Lovely walks all around and local markets at Mauril ( small farmers)on a Tuesday morning, Ribèrac (large market in the square) Angoulème town is 40 minutes away with Le Halles open on a Saturday morning. In amongst it's beautiful old town, known for Les Ramparts and Tin Tin comic festival

Chateau de la Mercerie is 20 minutes away and a beautiful visit and tours are available, its such an amazing story of the family and the renovation that is still continuing.
