Positive: The location was great, very near the Plaza and Calle Crisologo, which is the center of attraction in Vigan. Everything was very accessible. Although the booking didn’t include breakfast or meals, the owner was extremely generous and gave us lots of freebies such as Royal bibingka, banana chips, puto seko, mineral water, coffee, and more. What truly stood out was the kindness and good-heartedness of the owner and staff. I initially booked a non-cancellable reservation and accidentally selected the wrong date. I called them, and despite having every reason to reject our request, both the staff and the owner kindly agreed to reschedule our booking. On the day of our rescheduled stay, our car unfortunately overheated while we were on the way, and we couldn’t proceed anymore. We called again to ask if rescheduling was possible, honestly not expecting approval since they had already accommodated us once. To our surprise, they still agreed to reschedule. The staff reassured us not to rush and to prioritize our safety, and the owner personally called to check if we were safe and told us not to worry about the booking and to focus on our well-being first. On the day we finally arrived at the property, we commuted from Las Piñas to Vigan since our car was no longer in good condition for long travel. We arrived very early, around 6:00 AM, and called to ask if we could simply drop off our belongings even though our check-in time was 2:00 PM. They immediately responded and agreed. The caretaker assisted us, and after our exhausting 10-hour bus trip, we contacted them again to ask if early check-in was possible. Once again, they were incredibly generous and allowed us to check in early so we could finally rest. The room itself was very clean, air-conditioned, and the toilet was equipped with a bidet. Parking was available, and we noticed that most of the furnishings were new and the walls were newly painted. The room was very affordable considering the quality and amenities
