Positive: We had a wonderful stay - they left us a lovely welcome basket of fruits and coffee, the beds are incredibly comfortable, there's lots of storage in the room and bathroom for your things and the rain shower gets nice and hot. The kitchen is well equipped with a big fridge as well - we mainly ate out but on the morning we cooked breakfast, we had everything we needed and they provided salt, oil and vinegar. The pool and garden area is just beautiful as well and we really enjoyed relaxing in there. One thing to point out was that the villa runs on solar with the back up being the local grid - the owners explained that if the batteries ran down then we could experience some minor power disruptions but we're aware of the difficulties with the island infrastructure so we made sure we turned things off when going out and in the end we had no issues. In fact, on the last night there was actually Typhoon Tino passing over and the owners made sure we were comfortable and set up. Luckily there was no damage to the villa and there was still enough solar for the nighttime and day after while the rest of the island had their power cut off. This made things a lot easier for check out day! Thanks Seb and Pilar, we'll be back!
