Positive: What an absolute gem of a place. Stop reading reviews and just book this place! I have to admit, I was skeptical of all the rest reviews and though, I'm sure it's great but I didn't really expect much. But everything exceeded our expectations. The staff and the owners are so friendly, amazing, helpful, responsive and a joy to be around. And let me tell you about the FOOD. WOW! We ate outside of the resort once and we fully regret that decision. The food, all made by the owners, was FANTASTIC. Even my parents, who are always skeptical about food we eat outside of what they can cook at home, were super impressed and enjoyed every meal. We even ordered food to go for our excursions through the island and the packaging was so thoughtful. Everything about this place is thoughtful. The views are also absolutely amazing. I rarely/never want to or think to repeat a booking. But I absolutely want to come back to Txaleta. I am excited for their expansion plans and hope to one day come back and enjoy all that they've built. We are very excited for them and wish them great success! Now stop reading and book this place already!
