Summary: Our stay in Surigao was absolute bliss!! Although this place is old and has been badly affected by typhoon Odette a couple of years ago and is still undergoing renovations. The location was gold! The staff was extremely helpful and attentive. Its location is in their famous Mabua Pebble Beach, Surigao City, and on the foot of a mountain and with some 300 steps you get the most amazing view. It is also a fishing village and I've spent every night just watching the fishermen on their boats catching squid. They come back around 11pm and go back out again to catch fish and come back early morning. I have never seen a full functioning fishing village. I am in awe at the simplicity of the life here. And the sunset...well...it was exceptional 👌 Highly recommend this place 🌟 🌟 🌟🌟🌟one day I will come back and I will definitely stay here again.
