Our ultra modern minimalist home is set on a cliff overlooking a small beach and the beautiful blue waters towards Bohol and Cebu Islands. Your modern air conditioned bedroom is upstairs in the main house. The modest sized bedroom boasts a large private bathroom with hot shower. Guests have access to the lap pool with infinity edge, terrace and lounge. Fiona and David also live in the house and offer 2 rooms for guests so the house is a refreshing alternative to a crowded resort.
The space
Welcome to Gecko House. Your bedroom is located in the main house.
The room is a modest size and has its own large ensuite with hot water shower. The room is fully air conditioned.
Guests also have a nice bright sitting room next to the bedroom.
We are a short ten minute ride to the city and 20 minutes to Alona beach where all the action it.

3. Being independent in terms of transport will make your stay more enjoyable. Bohol is a remote province so taxis and public transport is limited and often unreliable.
Guest access
Guests are welcome to use the lap pool and terrace during their stay and coffee and tea making facilities are available free of charge. We also have laundry facilities which are available to guests or our house help can do washing for a small extra charge. The kitchen is not available for guest use as we encourage you to explore the many restaurants around Panglao.
Interaction with guests
We live and work from home and are usually around. We enjoy meeting other travellers but respect people's privacy.
Other things to note
If you would like to explore the island we can arrange a tour with private driver or if you are more adventurous we can arrange a hire motorcycle for you.

We recommend guests take out travel insurance when visiting the Philippines as transport can sometimes be delayed/canceled due to typhoons. We apply our published cancelation policy in these instances.
