Summary: When we entered our room around 2:15PM, approximately an hour later, someone attempted to open the door. I was exhausted from my travels and the rainy weather at the time; I personally opened the door. The hotel attendant in her mid 40, explained that she was just checking to see if the room was already occupied. I find this situation inconvenient and disruptive. Is it a standard procedure to hotel staff to conduct such checks in this manner?
