Positive: My partner and I received a complimentary non-alcoholic drink on arrival. Our room was basic but we loved the view of the sea from our room, soo beautiful, with chairs on the balcony to sit out and view the sea. There's air conditioning and a fan in the room. Body gel, shampoo and conditioner and soap are also provided. There was a mini fridge and a kettle in the room too. Snorkel and kayak gear are provided for you to use during your stay which we did. It was great to snorkel in the turquoise blue water. There's a pool table which was cool and free to play (bit outdated). We spent both nights playing there as there's not much to do when it gets to after 8pm. DJ and bar area was fun, we danced with a few other holidayers and a member of staff. It's easy to get around the island, lovely view of surrounding islands and sea with lounge chairs on the beach for you. Although, when the day trippers come it's hard to get a lounger. They had activities on a big board near the restaurant and bar area that showed you what they were offering for guests to do for the day. These were probably all the good points of our stay. 👍🏻 Needs improvement and more care we think. Didn't have space to write in the 'didn't like' part but there was also mold on the side of the pool which was gross to see when I was swimming in there. I wish I'd taken a photo. The place really has potential to be great if they take in recommendations and guidance from guests and ensure it's cleaned more efficiently.🤞🏻

Negative: Boat transfer very expensive! I know they say it's amongst the cheapest, but it's still too much. Stated before arrival it was our anniversary but we didn't feel like they made an effort for us, would've been nice. Sand easily brought into rooms, with no broom or no mat. I would suggest providing them for guests. However, they did provide two communal bowls on the deck to clean your feet in. Rusty rail, hair in sink! No curtain or blind on the window of the room towards the sea. So light easily came through in the morning. Maybe some ppl don't mind but we did, nice to have the option. Also, no bedside lamp. No room service option. No phone in the room but there was an emergency no. you could ring? Fire alarm went off 1 night, took them ages to sort.We put the 'do not disturb' sign on the door handle & in the early morning there was knocking at our door asking if we wanted our room serviced, even though the sign was on. Thought that was rude as we wanted privacy until we were ready to go down for breakfast. They ignored our sign. When we actually turned the sign to 'please service' at 10am, it was never done, even though we were out nearly the whole day, coming back to the room at 5:30pm to get ready for dinner. That was disappointing as they had the time to do it and there was no information on what time they service the rooms, apparently only once....At dinner, my partner asked one of the workers if they could please bring our room some fresh towels as our room wasn't serviced and he said he'd do it while we were at dinner but when we arrived back, there were no fresh towels. That was disappointing! 😔 Price was too expensive for what you got, also forced to get a starter, $75 FJD for starter + main. Food is mediocre at best, my chips were undercooked. We also saw another couple complain while we were having dinner. Free water at bar but not in the rooms or at dinner. Gets very crowded when the day tours arrive!!

Summary: Nice for a 1 night stay to be on a beautiful Island but pricey and more like a backpackers vibe 🏝️
