Positive: I had booked this one night accom for a friend & her 2 young boys (12 & 5).The special offer option was that one child would be given "free" accom, but all 3 of them had to share 1xQS bed. Earlier in the day, before we set off for Moalboal, I sent a message to the host, asking further about the conditions of the special offer. I sent a second message some hours later, and still no response. The booking I made for my friends included breakfast, but for only 2 people, even though I had booked for 3 family members (the bonus one child free). The breakfast, which was shared, was described by our friends as "okay". On arrival at the Inn, that night, I asked the staff about the lack of response to my messages to the host/owner. They didn't seem to know anything about it, and we got the impression, from them, that the owner was not good with communication. The small allocated room was hot, no staff member had bothered to turn on the aircon, prior to guests arrival, as most other Booking accoms do, in hot, humid countries. The venue was quiet, and staff were not busy. When the aircon was finally turned on, it was not very effective anyway. The bed was comfortable. Bathroom ok. The distance from the beach, cafes & shops required either a long walk, car or trike. Our friend, who stayed there, said there was no proper customer service provided. NB. My hubby & I were staying near the main beach for the next 4 days/nights & we had booked our friends' accom, at the last minute, the day before we arrived together, so that they could join us for the one night/day they had a available, before they headed back to Cebu City.

Summary: Not quite the welcome we had expected.
